Commercial epoxy flooring is not one coat of color. A project-specific build may use a compatible primer or moisture-control layer, body or build coat, decorative chip or quartz, and a protective clear or pigmented topcoat.
Film thickness, aggregate, texture, gloss, UV exposure, chemical resistance, recoat windows, cure conditions, and maintenance expectations should be considered together. Product names matter, but the layer sequence and installed coverage reveal what is actually being proposed.

A useful proposal separates verified conditions from assumptions and documents the areas, preparation, repairs, layer sequence, texture, details, phasing, exclusions, and care requirements.
When comparing bids, make sure the scopes describe the same preparation and system. A lower total may represent a different floor, fewer repairs, reduced material coverage, or a narrower operating plan.
